• This set of 2 votive candles have an automatic timer with a 5 Hours On/19 Hours Off cycle. They can be operated with a remote (remote ready), which is sold separately. They also can be turned on and off using the switch on the bottom of each candle.
• The LED Real Flame Effect of these votives lets you use them in places where real live flame candles are not recommended. Set near or drape with light gauzy fabric to create a romantic or spooky atmosphere. Tuck them into Christmas greenery, both real and artificial. Stick in a carved pumpkin without worrying about leaving them unattended. These short candles are not designed to be waterproof, so it is advised to bring them in out of the rain, or keep away from floating displays.
• Each candle uses 2 AA batteries (not included), which will give you 200 hours total runtime before needing to be replaced. When used with the automatic timer, you'll only have to replace the batteries a few times during the whole holiday season, from Halloween to New Year's. That makes these votive candles a beautiful decorating choice that is easy on the wallet for long-term use.
• Each little candle measures 1.5" in diameter, and 4" high each. That's just enough to give you lots of lovely illumination without requiring a huge amount of space.
