About This
- Superstar Herb - Self-heal (Prunella vulgaris) is an easy-to-grow wildflower in the mint family that is also known by the names Heal-All or All-Heal. The leaves and flowers can be used dried or fresh in herbal teas.
- Shade Tolerant Wildflower - In USDA Zones 3-9, direct sow outdoors in early spring or fall, or start indoors in 60-70° F soil 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Light improves germination; barely cover seeds. Self-heal germinates in 14-28 days. The plants reach 6-12 inches and thrive in partial shade to full sun. All-heal will flower from mid-spring to early fall, often blooming in the first year. Each seed packet contains approximately 126-200 seeds.
- Sustainable Living - Self-heal plants are hardy perennial herbs that are drought-tolerant and adaptable, serving as groundcover in shady areas as well as adding beauty to the garden. Their charming purple flowers attract beneficial insects, particularly bumblebees and butterflies that use its nectar as a food source. By supporting a range of pollinators, this beautiful North American native wildflower adds to your garden ecosystem's biodiversity and vitality.
- The Info You Need to Grow - These non-perishable seeds are packed in a beautiful paper packet with instructions for successful growing and germination in your home garden. Each package also has instructions for saving seeds after harvest. Getting started is simple for both beginner and experienced gardeners.
- Small American Family-Owned Business - We’re committed to always providing fresh, high-quality seeds for you to plant now or to store for future growing seasons. We pledge to sell only safe, non-hybrid non-GMO heirloom seeds that are always open-pollinated, untreated, and tested to ensure the best germination rates. They will remain viable for years if stored properly in a cool dry location.
